2026 is almost gone…
Well, not really, but the year has been slipping by. I know I disappeared, but this time the cocoon has been a creative chrysalis.
I have been working on updating my profile. I got a couple of acting credits under my belt, which came just in time. My family decided to shut down the family electric business and I didn’t know what to do with myself. My identity and origin was as Crump Electric. I have jokes and material that exist because of those experiences. But I have other experiences too. How do I monetize those things?
I am still licensed and insured and an electrical contractor and HVAC tech, but I haven’t been doing electrical work as much as I have been mentoring guys on the phone the apartment management company has call me to talk them through various electrical shenanigans.
I did a bunch of auditions since my last blog. I’ve started writing again. I have been creating, and I hope to eventually reveal to the world the new 2026 doings. Its neat.
I miss doing stand up. My mind has been on getting these new projects ready for the world. After that purge the canvas will be cleansed. I will return to the stage very soon.
I miss New York. A lot happened since I was last there. My buddy died, my Dad needed hospital level care at the end of the summer, Mom had a minor stroke. Life happened while I was busy making plans. I also told myself that I had to make many changes to my life and the structure of my existence, my core problems in accordance to my origins. And about that time ‘the world turned upside down’
So now, here we are, it is May of 2026 and that is where I have been. I have been working on myself for that end, to return to Manhattan a new, reorganized person. I have gained new ground, and shed some old skin.
More to come. I tell you the good stuff, I promise.
